Niki's Personal Story
"In 1995 I suffered a stroke that could have left me with numerous multiple disabilities. I didn't realise at the time that this life changing incident would turn out to be the best thing to happen to me. Not only did it allow me to take responsibility for my own healing by implementing herbal medicine & a variety of other holistic health & wellbeing modalities, it enabled me to start living in synergy with the natural world around me. This led me to make a complete & speedy recovery which astounded my neurologist & other medical professionals".
Professional Practice
From 1995 over a period of eleven years, I trained and graduated in a large variety of bodywork therapies and complementary health therapy modalities from remedial massage to herbal medicine, later going on to teach in colleges, university and also within my own training school; the rest, as they say, is history!
Upon graduating in herbal medicine, along with utilising my extensive knowledge and experience of working holistically, I created and developed two unique companies from 2015 - 2018: Norfolk Organics - the UK's only organic herbal wellness and skincare brand with each product ranging from between 91 - 100% organic, and AniScentia - A unique 100% organic herbal wellness brand for dogs & horses. Due to their extensive and speedy success I soon found myself working over seventy hours per week with little time for myself, so I made the difficult decision to sell both companies to focus on my personal wellness clinic.
My Books
In 2012 I started writing my first book. Six years later in 2018 'Animal Healing - Holistic Hands-on Techniques' was published in the USA by international publishers Llewellyn Worldwide then released in the UK in 2019. My book is endorsed by Vets and many other animal health professionals as well as being voted one of the best sellers in animal wellness in 2020. It's since been translated into four different languages and is available from all good bookshops and Amazon.

Helping The Community To Help Themselves
I'm currently looking to purchase 13 - 15 acres of land upon which to grow medicinal herbs organically for the clients in my clinic. I intend to share my self-funded land and it will become a vital health and wellness educational resource for the local and wider community to support mental health and physical wellness. My plan is to provide hands-on education about growing, harvesting and formulating their own plant medicines, and spreading the roots of self-awareness and herbal healing relevant to everybody today. Through on-site tuition I aim to empower people to support their own wellness with the abundance of both cultivated and wild medicinal herbs gathered upon the land and in the surrounding hedgerows. This resource will encompass a system that builds healthy communities and connect people to their local plants, to nature, to themselves, to each other, to other forms of holistic wellness, to good health and to our beautiful Mother Earth.
